Known for first-class steaks, burgers and various vegetarian and seafood dishes, The ASH will find a new location for its second restaurant in Cologne in the MesseCity gastronomy pavilion.
The restaurant chain, The ASH Restaurant & Bar is opening its second restaurant in Cologne, after the one on Hahnenstr., and its eleventh restaurant overall in Germany. The chosen location is the approximately 1,200 m² gastronomy pavilion at the MesseCity and will be the focal point of the new trade fair balcony. "I am overjoyed that we can open our eleventh The ASH Restaurant overall at this special location in Cologne. The direct proximity to the Cologne trade fair center naturally makes this location enormously exciting for us," says Kent Hahne, Founder and CEO of the parent company Apeiron.
The generously glass enclosed restaurant extends over two levels with a total of 198 seats in the interior. In addition, guests can enjoy two spacious patios from where they can enjoy the sun as well as the view of the Cologne Cathedral. "The architecture of this restaurant always takes my breath away. I hardly wait to finally see it filled with people," says Hahne. That will now happen faster than initially thought since the successful restaurateur and his team have pulled out all the stops to open The ASH Restaurant & Bar in time for the upcoming ANUGA trade show.
"Rarely have I sweat more" smiles Hahne. "We were really hopeful right up to the last second and did everything we could to be able to open the doors for the most important trade fair in our industry. And of course, we are putting ourselves through a challenging test right from the start since there will be many gastronomy professionals among our first guests," Hahne knows from long experience.
The restaurant will officially open on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 6 pm. "From that point on, we will spoil our guests not only with excellent food, but also with outstanding service and great atmosphere."
