01/21/2020 - The Weserpark is expanding its culinary offering with Italian specialties and first-class Meat Dishes

The culinary selection at Bremen's premier shopping address is getting another addition: following extensive renovation work, two new buildings are to be built on the Weserpark site in the Spring of 2021, between the shopping center and "CineStar Kristall-Palast”, into which two exceptional restaurant concepts, L'Osteria and The ASH, will be moving. This means that in the future Italian specialties such as pizza, pasta, and salads as well as first-class meat and seafood dishes will additionally enrich the existing gastronomy options. A large outdoor patio, available to guests of both concepts, will connect the two buildings and create a great atmosphere, especially in the Summer.

The ASH "American Grill & Bar" is a brand of the Apeiron Restaurant & Retail Management GmbH from Bonn. Here, visitors can expect a mix of American cuisine and a unique bar atmosphere, carrying the idea of the Supper Club from the 1920s of America into today. The menu selection ranges from American classics to first-class steaks and juicy burgers, sophisticated salads, vegetarian dishes and spectacular brunches on Sundays and Holidays, as well as delicious cocktails and cool drinks. Even seafood lovers will get their money's worth here. The so-called "fine casual dining concept" made its debut in downtown Cologne in 2015. Today, The ASH operates a total of nine locations on the Rhine and the Ruhr, and since December 2019 also in Frankfurt on the Main, and employs a staff about 550.

If you prefer Italian flair instead of a juicy steak, L'Osteria is the place to go: L'Osteria is known for its pizza measuring 45 cm in diameter, fresh pasta from its own production facility, crisp salads, and many other classics of Italian cuisine. All dishes are freshly prepared on site and offer excellent value for your money. In order to offer visitors an exceptional taste experience, L'Osteria also places great emphasis on the quality of the food when selecting its products. The company opened its first restaurant in Nuremberg in 1999. Thanks to its success, other locations quickly followed in Rosenheim, Regensburg, and Munich. Today, L'Osteria has over 100 restaurants in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and France. The gastronomy business follows a three-pillar principle: In addition to company-owned restaurants, L'Osteria also operates joint venture and franchise restaurants. For the Northern German region, Dirk Block has functioned as joint venture partner since 2012. In the coming years, L'Osteria aims to expand further: By 2021, around 180 locations are anticipated.
