Bonn, 19.07.2023 - The restaurant chain The ASH, the successful concept of Apeiron Restaurant & Retail Management GmbH, has a new strong man at the top in Norbert Speth.
The 44-year-old Speth assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer of the concept The ASH Restaurant & Bar with immediate effect and reports directly to the Founder and Owner Kent Hahne. "We took our time in the search for a new CEO for our The ASH and took our time sounding out the market. Norbert Speth brings a great expertise in gastronomy and hotel business. We are convinced of him and are delighted that he will now join us in driving forward the expansion of The ASH Restaurant & Bar," says the successful brand restaurateur.
After Speth began his career with a chef apprenticeship at the star-rated Hotel Traube Tonbach, he first worked as a restaurant and bar manager for the lifestyle chain "W" (Starwood) in the USA before moving into the hotel industry for over two decades. Here, among other things, he managed hotels of the Marriot brands in Switzerland as General Manager. He has not forgotten his beginnings and is now happy about the step back into the hospitality industry. I am a trained chef and have developed a great passion for gastronomy and "being a host" during my professional career. The ASH is a fascinating concept. I'm really looking forward to the challenge," says Norbert Speth.
Meanwhile, challenges abound, as Kent Hahne reveals "At the moment, we have eleven The ASH Restaurant & Bar, but this year alone, another two new restaurants will be added. The course is clearly set on expansion - also internationally. And the most important thing for us is that we don't forget our existing restaurants in the process and maintain our high level here."
The ASH Restaurant & Bar is part of Apeiron Restaurant & Retail Management GmbH. Its founder Kent Hahne currently operates 11 restaurants of the restaurant concept The ASH Restaurant & Bar, a The ASH Grab & Go, a GREENKARMA restaurant and the brewery-restaurant concept Starnberger Alm.
